Organizational Alignment

Tired of the inertia, greed and politics of most organizations? Take this opportunity to understand why organizations typically do not live up to their potential. Discover not only why we feel compromised, but what we can do about it. This consciousness building class challenges our assumptions and provides insights about what makes organizations truly work. This course is designed for individuals in both large and small organizations and is particularly valuable to entrepreneurs.

Find our more about how common beliefs about business undermine it. Discuss with colleagues how we know when an organization is accomplishing its purpose or not. Clarify the murky waters and boundaries between organizations and their employees. Investigate how we can create conscious agreements and policies between the employees and management that reflect an enlightened perspective about being more synergistic.

During this process we practice creating a company of our own, selecting friends, associates or even public business leaders that are unknown to you. These teams are then assessed by you and your class partner based on compatibility, motivation, and life-task alignment to your company purpose. If you want to use an existing group, make sure you can get photos with the eyes visible for each member. Otherwise, create your fantasy team with individuals you know or pictures from magazines filling the functions you need to launch your endeavor. The value of this project is to guide you in understanding the choices you have to make as a company or team leader.

If this appeals to you, start constructing your business team for the first night. Start by writing a mission or core purpose statement, and collect pictures of your proposed team. The main requirement is that you are able to establish your team fully by the beginning of night two. Remember that we will review a topic each night that may inspire you to change your team. The overall purpose is to learn how to build teams that are creatively aligned.

While it is valuable to be experienced in compatibility profiling, it is not required for this course. Experienced individuals will be available to assist you in profiling your prospects. For new individuals, you may want to purchase the Creative Uniqueness book.
